Brant Beach Yacht Club is pleased to host this prestigious event and we are looking forward to having the best Opti sailors in the Nation vying to represent the USA regattas across the world.

Brant Beach Yacht Club has a strong tradition of hosting International, National and Regional championship events for classes particularly the Laser, C420, Sunfish and the Optimist Class. In 2010 we were the proud recipients of the US Sailing One Design Club of the Year for hosting on a regular basis large one design regattas. In recent years we have hosted the Laser North Americans, C420 North Americans, Sunfish Worlds, Laser Nationals and numerous regional events for a variety of boats.

Long Beach Island is an 18 mile long barrier reef island. To the east we have the Atlantic Ocean and to the west we have Barnegat and Little Egg Harbor Bays the regatta venue. Our race course is less than one/half mile from the Yacht Club. Our property is some seven blocks of waterfront with more than half available for beach launching of Optimist

We are a relatively small Club with a seasonal membership. We are a family oriented community that relies heavily on volunteers to staff both on the water and off the water activities. April is a bit early for Brant Beach YC and we appreciate the members who have opened their homes early to help run the regatta and host families and officials for the Team Trials.
